In order to try and make our film openings as realistic as possible we had to produce three graphic breakdowns of films which are within the genre of our film.
The first film I picked was Skyfall. Skyfall is classed as an action thriller. Here is the opening sequence:

I chose this film because the opening sequence uses a variety of graphic techniques which I thought was very interesting to watch.
The next film I picked because I wanted to originally experiment with animation within my opening sequence, however it never went ahead. I picked the film Coraline. Below is the opening sequence:

The next film I chose because it had a very simple opening sequence which I thought was very interesting, rather than a very intense opening sequence. It is also a thriller. I chose Inception. Below is the opening sequence:

I learnt a lot from this process, there is a lot more that goes into an opening sequence than it might originally seem, which will really help me when it comes to me adding graphic changes to mine.
